Commitment to Your Safety
At Scarsdale and Yonkers Oral Surgery, your health and safety remain our top priority. As we continue to navigate the ongoing effects of COVID-19, we want our patients to know that we are fully prepared and following enhanced protocols to minimize infection risk and maintain a clean, safe environment for every visit.
Mask and Health Questionnaire Requirements
For everyone’s safety, masks are required in both our offices and throughout the building. Please keep your mask on until instructed to remove it by your doctor or surgical assistant.
Before your appointment, all patients must complete and submit a COVID-19 Health Questionnaire for the office they will be visiting:
Check-In and Check-Out Process
We’ve strengthened our disinfection and sanitation measures throughout the day, focusing on high-touch areas such as counters, doorknobs, and shared spaces. Hand sanitizer is also available at the front desk and in every treatment room for your convenience.
Patient and Family Considerations
To help us maintain a safe and efficient environment, we ask that you and your family observe the following:
- Limit accompanying guests: Only essential family members (such as parents or guardians of minors) may enter the office. Others are asked to wait outside. We’ll contact you when your family member’s treatment is complete.
- Stay home if you’re unwell: If you or anyone in your household has symptoms, has been exposed to someone who tested positive for COVID-19, or has recently traveled internationally, please call our office to reschedule your appointment.
- Minimized physical contact: For now, our team will refrain from handshakes and hugs to ensure everyone’s safety.
Infection Control Protocols
Our practice has always adhered to the highest standards of infection control, and these protocols continue to guide our care:
- Using new, disposable gloves for every patient.
- Wearing masks, face shields, and protective eyewear during all procedures.
- Washing and sanitizing hands thoroughly between each patient.
- Disinfecting treatment rooms and surfaces with hospital-grade cleaners after every appointment.
- Sterilizing all instruments using sealed bags and heat sterilization equipment.
Our Continued Commitment
For over 20 years, Scarsdale Oral Surgery has proudly served the Westchester community with the highest standard of surgical care. Our dedication to patient safety began long before COVID-19 and remains stronger than ever. We continually monitor guidance from the CDC, ADA, and other health authorities to ensure we meet and exceed current standards.
Your comfort and trust mean everything to us. If you have any questions about our protocols or your upcoming visit, please don’t hesitate to contact our office.
